The workshop took place on 16^th-20^th September, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya.  This Workshop was designed to educate and empower farmers, agricultural professionals, and policymakers on sustainable farming practices that mitigate the effects of climate change. The workshop focused on integrating cutting-edge technologies and strategies that enhance agricultural productivity while reducing environmental impacts.

Key components included:

• Climate-Smart Practices: Introduced adaptive farming techniques that improve resilience to changing weather patterns, such as crop diversification, agroforestry, and sustainable water management.
• Technology in Agriculture: Demonstrated the use of data-driven tools like precision farming, drones, IoT sensors, and climate modeling to optimize resource use and monitor soil health.
• Sustainable Resource Management: Participants were taught on efficient use of water, soil, and energy resources to minimize waste and reduce the carbon footprint.
• Policy and Climate Action Plans: Discussed national and global policies that support climate-smart agriculture and how to access funding or incentives for implementing sustainable practices.
• Case Studies and Best Practices: Highlighted successful case studies from various regions, showcasing the positive outcomes of integrating smart climate solutions in agriculture.

Outcomes:

Participants left with a deeper understanding of how to implement climate-smart strategies, leverage technology, and engage in sustainable agriculture that is both economically viable and environmentally responsible
