About The Event
The global pandemic has disrupted progress toward the SDGs, forcing developing countries to balance long-term investments in health, education, infrastructure, and essential services with immediate spending to protect lives and livelihoods. Achieving the SDGs by 2030 requires a collective global effort from all stakeholders.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has analyzed the situation and developed a framework for developing countries to make policy choices that foster long-term growth and attract private investments in SDG projects. In this conversation, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Professor Ian Goldin will explore country case studies and discuss the necessary reforms for advancing towards the SDGs by 2030.
While the building blocks of prosperity may seem more distant, the roadmap to achieving them has become clearer. Join us to learn more about how we can reach these critical goals together.
